Miss Mexico Pageant & Scholarship Program
The Mexican Patriotic Committee of Metro Detroit (Comité Patriotico Mexicano) is proud to bring back the celebration of Mexican Heritage by crowning a “Miss Mexico” along with her court to represent Detroit’s rich Mexican culture and community. The Miss Mexico pageant has been a long-standing staple in the area that has afforded many young ladies academic opportunities, networking growth, professional experience, and a civic platform. The young lady selected will represent her community over the year of her reign in various events as well as be featured in the Cinco de Mayo Parade 2025. Additionally, Miss Mexico will be eligible for various prizes, and academic opportunities up to and including a college scholarship. MPC encourages young ladies who would like to be considered for selection to submit applications no later than November 15, 2024. Five candidates will be selected as finalists from among the applications. Join the MPC for the Miss Mexico Pageant & Gala to make the final selection of Miss Mexico and her court will take place December 6th, 2024. Criteria for consideration includes the following:-Must be of Mexican descent-Must be between the ages of 17-24-Must be single with no children-Must not have a criminal history-Must submit a written 2-page entry on what it means to represent their community as “Miss Mexico”-Must be willing and able to attend various events throughout the year as “Miss Mexico”-Must submit a resume including community service and academic accomplishments.
